Why call this a remake and then say it doesn’t copy anything???

It was revealed that Wardwell was The Mother of Monsters way back during the Batibat episode. I distinctly remember thinking, "Ooh, Lilith!"
They do this to keep the world recognizable. It's like superheroes who've had flying cars and lifelike robots since the 60s. If they extrapolated the effects to the rest of the world, the setting would be totally alien and no longer recognizable.
Melvin’s circular saw blades are a reference to the comic character, who was a villain called The Gladiator. http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Melvin_Potter_(Earth-616)
So... you didn’t care for it because it wasn’t Tarantino enough for you.
The show has always been a pastiche of, wait for it, American horror story tropes. American horror has had a pretty strong vein of being over-the-top/humorous since at least the 80s. A lot of people watch humor more for a laugh than to be scared.
Everything about it was horribly thought out. I guess that's what makes it horror. lol
I have a hard time believing that all the cheesy silliness wasn’t on purpose.
Well, to my knowledge, no one asked for donations to make The Phantom Edit, anyway...
The only 10 year jump is the one between Iron Man 1 and now. The “leak” jump of logic is just trying too hard to look for accidental hints.
Based on the next episode preview looking like Coulson is dying, I’m going to guess that he’ll get dusted mid-death, and then be able to come back when everyone else inevitably does.
My contributions that no one ever thinks of are based on kids books. The films for both Babe (the pig one) and The Tale of Despereaux are both much better than the books.
Anyone else notice the pre-death potion Hale’s Hydra boss gave her was the same thing Cassias took and said was a family tradition?
I figure they’re just working toward getting Trish to become Hellcat, even if not specifically by name.
Maybe the drug will be the excuse they use for her to eventually find or create those latent minor psychic powers the comic character has?
New person reviewing the show. The last one burnt out on hate watching.
Maybe I was just too excited by the thought of AoS going the Marvel Cosmic route (and given the GotG/Ragnarok-style wackiness of the opening, it certainly seemed to be), but for me the reveal was just as disappointing as it was surprising. We’re in the future, so... very little consequences other than what events mean…
heh. I never minded the nudity that fit into the story, but early on there was definitely plenty of gratuitous nudity that was so obviously pandering that it temporarily knocked me out of the story...
I know it’s not saying much, but I actually thought this was the best episode of the show. Reasonable action, some decent character interactions... If this had been the first episode of the show, it might’ve even shown some promise.
I’d think with Captain Marvel coming up, it’d be easy to thread AoS closer into the MCU again. Heck, they could fill the whole upcoming season with foreshadowing for the film...
I have to admit that accidentally watching the last 5 minutes of Upon A Time before this show managed to put the entire series in a better light. (That show has HOW MANY seasons now??? Looked terrible!)
