Which is probably a major portion of the audience. I remember playing “Ghostbusters” when I was a kid. The movie came out when I was 6/7. I didn’t see it until it came out on VHS, but I saw the trailers. I watched the cartoon every Saturday morning when it came out a couple years later. I didn’t understand the joke

Well shit, 10 year old me did have a lot of love for the old cartoon. To say I take it seriously would be a reach, but I was pretty heavy into the ‘Busterverse. So maybe...

She used the Goober!

The 1/14600005 chance that Strange saw in Infinity War was finding the one timeline where Stark managed to not be a complete fuckup.

It was a vehicle for 3 of the top SNL writers/performers to flex their comedy chops. In the cartoons and follow up media it took itself far more seriously. What’s interesting is that Ray (Akroyd’s character) is from the midwest in the expanded universe because in reality he’s Canadian and it’s more believable since

It’s utterly bizarre that having a writing staff with an actual idea of where the show is headed is presented as a bad thing.

Which of the Knights of Ren is Grogu?

My favorite CYA explanation is that it’s Star Wars Captcha, and it’s literally just making sure you’re not a robot.

I still can’t justify Death Star 3.0 in any way, but TFA still stuck with me because its actors, characters, and performances were such a refreshing repudiation of the prequels’ (read: Lucas’s) wooden dialogue and hackneyed exposition. Boyega and Ridley were downright electric in the Falcon dogfight scenes, and that,

I’m 46 and Pizza Hut was a TREAT growing up. Right alongside trips to Children’s Palace.

If you had to read Ayn Rand for a class, and you kept the book (instead of selling it back, or throwing it in an abandoned septic tank), it’s still a huge red flag.

My kids kept going “oh my god, why is there so much blood?!?!” and I had to explain that the amount of blood itself was a reference to ‘80s slasher movies.

I think you might have misunderstood why they are called the “Bad Batch”, they are genetically defective, and had something wrong with their cloning processes. They are not made that way on purpose, and are named “Clone force 99" after the genetically defective 99, a janitorial clone in the Domino Squad episodes. They

So is the Pushme-Pullyou in this or not?

Now playing

I like how an unproduced script now constitutes a “version” of a movie. All this version is missing is cinematography, music, sound effects, actors, pretty much the whole “audiovisual” element.

Just to say it, the show certainly seemed to tease out the idea of a Christmas / New Year’s season...

Bring back the buffet and then I’ll think about eating at Pizza Hut again.

Sonic is a secret Cloverfield movie. This trailer confirms it.

I want a She-Hulk SERIES on Disney+

How’d you like to have been the foley artist for this episdoe?

Benioff: “We need forty-five minutes of undead snarling noises.”
FA: “Four to five minutes - no problem.”
Benioff: “No - forty five minutes.”
