I was going to upgrade to a SSD and a new MB/Chip anyways, so I'll probably just throw in a new graphics card. Everyone says upgrading costs a fortune but when it's not JUST a gaming PC for me, I don't care (it's my gaming PC, my art box, my tv box, etc.). Plus I sell my old parts so buying the new ones doesn't hurt

I kind of agree but then you'd just have people playing even more deathmatch style in Conquest/Rush than they already do. At least if you include Deathmatch it would siphon off some of those people. I'm not knocking deathmatch, but it's not the point of the main Conquest/Rush mode and people gladly lose matches just

I want to see multiplayer so I can know the speed of the game (running, vehicles, etc), the spotting/non-spotting use, squad system, spawn system ( I think it should go back to only spawning on your squad LEADER and flags), if they have dumb perks (which need to be a server option IMO), and see if maybe having a

I kind of wonder why they don't just make Mutant League a part of Madden. Like have it as an option or secondary game. Play your human created Madden team against the mutants and vice versa. Then the Madden fans would be happy and they would sell more Maddens because people like me who don't care about Madden in

You forgot General Chaos (which is basically Battlefield now IMO). I would love a new Roadrash with hilarious ragdoll physics. Road Rash 64 is an underrated gem, I can play that all the time. It never gets old kicking a cop bike into a semi head-on. I know it's wrong...but it feels so good.

I'm waiting for a rapper to have gun teeth...

It doesn't say BF3 is getting perks, I'm just hoping we don't. Punkbuster is quick at busting people when they are using older cheats. From the BF forums though it seems like PB is always a few weeks behind the hacker updates. I myself have been sure before someone is cheating, but they denied it, I can't really argue

I liked BF2142 but I kind of fell off gaming when that came out. School, work, life...I wanted to revisit it but I basically got back into PC gaming when BFBC2 came out. I enjoyed TOO many hours of BF1942 and BF2. I owned 2142 but I played it for a month and then quit playin games for a long time (console and PC).

I agree that many recons are annoying campers, but check my stats AtTheGuysBelowMe, I don't camp and I make my team win many-a-time. But again, I understand your hatred.

BFBC2's "perks" are as much as I can take and even then it annoys me when EVERYONE uses magnum ammo (especially my fellow recons) when really you should just take better shots and don't hold down the trigger. I fully admit to using the armor...but only because everyone uses magnum ammo (I do not).

I'm really afraid, and especially after BFBC2, that BF3 will follow suit with these perks and killstreaks because of CoD's sales. Perks are total anti-skill bs IMO. You shouldn't unlock things to make you better, you should just get better playing the game. If you want some different guns to unlock, a few gadgets,

I'm admittedly biased (as a past BF1942 junky and current BFBC2 player) in my desire to see some multiplayer of BF3. Could care less about singleplayer mode. hoping they make me 100% sure I'm getting BF3 (which again....is pretty much a given with my history).

haven't been to one yet this year....sad, I know. I work a lot though (and other lame excuses). I live RIGHT next to crew stadium over the railroad tracks

Thanks for all the informative responses!

Do we even really know where the actual memory is stored? We know the brain holds them, the synapses seem to fire at certain areas for certain movements/memories, but how is all that data stored? Like at a molecular level? Do we kind of have wet-SSD drives with a bunch of 1's and 0's? That's what I want to know. Like

Funny commentary. I like Bill Burr. It seems though that you don't like soccer, which is fine, but you seem to think bigger is better or something. I get that soccer can be boring, it definitely can, but you seem to be leaning towards this "Athlete" image of big muscle dudes being the main factor. Just an odd thing to

Not a fan of "Vita". Maybe they should lose the PS part when they name it as well to A) differentiate from the older PSPs and B) to give it a name that doesn't sound at all like DS.

It's just more and more obvious that money runs a lot of these programs and they generate a lot so it always feels like marketing and not football, EXCEPT when they are on the field. The names are horrible but when I'm watching a game I won't care. Welcome to the Big Ten and hopefully you guys shake things up a

As a Buckeye (well maybe I'm not a Buckeye, I never got a free car.....) I can say that almost the entire populace of Columbus (or Stupid Explorer), Ohio agrees that those divisions are terribly named.

I'm getting BF3 for PC. It's weird though, when I read your post it made me want CoD for a console, which I am really not in to. But yeah, If I was going to buy 2 games it probably would be BF3 for PC and then having CoD for a console doesn't seem so bad. Does that mean I think MW3 is console-ish? Is console-ish bad?
