Assad’s thugs (his so-called Syrian Arab Army, which is not nearly as Syrian or Arab as it used to be—regime forces in Aleppo are largely Iranian soldiers and Hezbollah terrorists) have taken Bana’s neighborhood.

Also wasn’t that shooter homeschooled because he had issues? Other than the mom who taught him to shoot, who was going to notice changes in his behavior?

I was expecting said “girl” to be a boy and for that to be the big “reveal.” That says a lot about me I guess. I see the world through gay as shit eyes.

To be honest, I almost wish they’d focus more on that. My high school had a string of suicides that started my senior year, and are still continuing today. It’s really sad, because none of the adults have managed to come up with anything even close to helping the situation. Apparently the only strategy they’ve

My thought was that he might harm himself: a suicide-awareness campaign, perhaps. I’m dating myself, I know. My high school had a few awful cases of suicides: mass shootings were nothing about which we had to be concerned. 😖

I caught the Instagram photo. I was more worried they were going to go the ‘guy gets rejected and then goes on shooting’ route though, which I’m really glad they didn’t do.

Agreed. After all, after Columbine, it seems everyone was hyperaware of that kind of stuff—turning in kids to the guidance counselor office if creative writing assignments had violence, etc. It seems like becoming overly cautious, like this video seems to suggest we should be, is just as dumb. I’m not sure that there

weird - I noticed the headphones, and noticed the violent image while he was scrolling through what I am assuming was instagram. I kept thinking, “why is there a guy always with white headphones on in the background?”

On a similar theme, writer Michael Rowe popped up on my FB feed with this interesting observation, “I never saw CRACKED becoming the source of serious social commentary it has become, but this piece is terrific, if very obviously written for a certain audience.”

It brings me great comfort that Alec Baldwin keeps doing this impersonation with the sole purpose of getting under Trump’s skin.

My favourite is the one who somehow thought Trump would solve the wage gap?! Even if you buy into his “I love women. Women are tremendous” bullshit, was I asleep when he acknowledged the wage gap?

Newsflash; people who can’t tell they’ve been conned surprised when it turns out they’ve been conned.

Yeah you’re right. Being worried about things that the POTUS-elect actually said is EXACTLY the same as being afraid of things that Rush Limbaugh’s anal bead (Sean Hannity) invented.

The difference here is that Trump has said these things, or that the people being picked to shape policy for the next 4 years actually have these factual track records. Most people aren’t conjuring bullshit from whole cloth like the right does.

Then don’t fucking read it. No one cares whether you like a feature or not.

These are people who don’t care about facts. Even when they’re given the truth they look at it, toss it over their shoulder and keep arguing their nonsensical point.

things like buy new light bulbs and stop throwing plastic, glass, paper, and metal in the garbage!

“is currently figuring out a way to use her platform to speak out about a pet issue of hers: climate change”

You know I find it kind of funny you made an entire article complaining about Keijo’s fan service yet are recommending Izetta which has much more problematic fan service in that every last bit of it is completely unnecessary and shoehorned in. >_>

“Cringe”? Idk ‘bout that. I just saw the 1st episode and it was pretty good. Other than 1 or 2 small moments, it actually felt a lot less “anime” and more “drama” like ‘Showa...’ and I liked it for that :/
