They finally caught the leaker.

That was the end game for this whole strategy. A new crisis every day, people will be overwhelmed and won't be able to keep track. And they will be so distracted by the never-ending sequence of things to be outraged about they will eventually become numb to it all and give up fighting. So it worked? Already? Wow.

*does research*
Sort of. It looks like, for last week, Fox News Channel was still first in viewers but 3rd (behind MSNBC and CNN) in viewers 25-54. My take: FNN ignored the Comey story, forcing viewers to look elsewhere for juicy details. This one time, at least, curiosity overtook willful ignorance. A long term-trend?

They give the people want they want to hear. And that's why they are the highest rated cable news network, by far.

I was told at work that I shouldn't ever talk about the Washington Post, it would be seen as a political act.

Is "Hunted" still in limbo?

So if you buy Alan Wake, it's yours to keep forever. But GTA got the music patched out? Even if you bought it back when the rights were all secured? Bummer. I didn't play it much [yet] but the stations seemed to be complete, and it was amazing! Hmmm. Maybe it WAS complete.

I went to go buy it on Steam and found I already own in. Someday I'm going to get a computer fast enough to run all of the games I've purchased at a huge discount. Also: a gigantic internal HD.

Wait, the PS4 port I have doesn't have the full soundtrack? How about the version of Vice City on my phone? So it's a good thing I still have the original PS2 discs?

We will need to depend on our nation's hoaders, keeping it all safe because otherwise history will be forgotten.

I hope someone thought to hook up their computer to a VCR and record it all.

He would definitely have problems with big critters living on an isolated island: "the ecosystem could never support megafauna like that, the calories needs would be massive". And now, me, I have just enough training in physics to find the newest Kong unwatchable. Those legs would shatter!

I never watched it, but I remember hearing about a story on the This American Life TV Show that suggested this is a common behavior. Put a camera in a person's hand, and they film stuff because they quickly grasp that it is important that they get the story … and that the camera acts as a psychological barrier to them

The time lapse with them spinning records looks fun, but not so amazingly fun that I'd risk losing everything (job, friends, family, arm) to be able to participate in. Not even close to that amount of fun.

And SO out of line with what I remembered from the original series. Surely gruesome things happened there too, traumas that left people maimed, or dead, in painful ways. Maybe it was because it involved the normally benign transporter, something that only McCoy ever found dangerous? Because he was a wuss. But no, the

I hate seeing bugs gets squished in movies. What a way to treat your extras! And nobody bats an eye.

Movie makers could be a lot looser with continuity and editing "back in the day". Minds were easier to fool, and the job was a lot easier, back when 99% of your viewers would see each scene but one time, at full speed, without an available pause button. And (maybe more importantly) most folks were completely ignorant

The owner is away. And will pay for ignoring you! It's a very crudely made game, PS2 level graphics (?), made during a brief "game jam". But is it fun? Yeah. I can't seem to complete any time trial challenges but I make a good mess. So many goofy details in the game, some cat related (unlock lots of cats to play as,

And then they shut the server down in a year, forcing you to buy the new version and start all over again? Or can you keep playing most modes indefinitely, if you're willing to keep playing without any further roster updates?

Is that a real place?
