Adoption is a long, expensive, and emotionally wrenching process, and not guaranteed to end in a happy little family. Spontaneous conception can be this way too, for some, but to elevate one over the other as being the “right” way to manifest the desire to raise a child is short sighted and ignorant.

I am an Alison Roman fangirl, and have both her cookbooks. Most of her recipes are veggie-oriented, lots of salads/sides that could function as mains. I’m not vegetarian but you could easily make most of her recipes veggie by leaving out a protein or swapping in a protein substitute.

I love SR Good Genes, and their retinol serum too. As much as I hate to say it, the products work and work well (for me anyway). To date I haven’t found anything that does for my skin what GG does, but I’m open to suggestions!
