That’s...not completely true. Private label products (especially FMCG/CPG) are often manufactured in the same plants as brand-name products, but the private label company (Walgreens, etc) contracts out the manufacturing facilities to produce their product alongside the “name brand” products. 

They’re objectively not appealing to look at but they sure look comfortable.
