Glancing at the lead photo I thought that it was a full size pickup next to an old Ranger.

The front tires do most of the stopping on FWD and RWD cars, so I’d think you’d want your best tires there.

That might be an improvement for both the car and the cart.

It’s amazing to me how many cars I see with 2 of the 3 brake lightsburnt-out. Every once in awhile, all three. And this in a state with an annual safety inspection.

I’ll probably make the jump someday to an EV. A hybrid still has an ICE, with the dreaded CEL and emissions tests/repairs to deal with. As long as the EV has a battery pack that can eventually be sourced by a third party (read cheaper), I’ll be happy. Though I’m pretty sure that at least some EV manufacturers are

Years ago my dad sold heat pump systems in the Midwest, where they made sense. He said that in colder climates they were not as efficient and that NG heat was going to cost less to operate. OTOH, since then heat pumps have increased in efficiency, but then so too have gas furnaces.

It will be interesting how your uncle

I use way more electricity in the summer. But I run a 16-SEER A/C in the summer and an 80% efficient gas furnace in the winter. My gas+electric bills run lower in winter than my electric bill in the summer, and maximum temperature differential between indoor and outdoor is higher in the winter, so you’re going to use

I’ve used it a couple of times in the past year at ORD and HOU. Both times I looked at the difference in the length of the lines and was like ‘damn.’ I would have been through HOU even faster if I hadn’t missed the sign for Mobile Passport.

If that electricity is produced with oil, coal, or natural gas, you’re adding carbon dioxide to the air at less than 50% efficiency. If you’re running a modern natural gas furnace, you’re heating at at 80% to 90% efficiency. If you use a heat pump to heat your home, you’re back to no better than 50% efficiency. It’s

“But don’t let these stellar prices through you off balance...” FYI it’s “throw you off balance.” Dang autocorrect I guess?

That an interesting position to take. If you look at a graph of the GDP over the years, you can see that it took a downward turn at the end of 2008 and recovered from its pre-recession peak by the middle of 2010. It has been an upward trend since then, with no noticeable difference after Trump took office.

Being a cooling system expert, maybe you could comment on the following: Would taking an aluminum hood, connecting tubing on the inside in a serpentine fashion, and run cooling water through that reduce the required radiator opening?

Being an editor, he should also learn the difference between their and they’re, as in “...like their they’re in the middle of a campaign all the time.”

Again, I refer you to my original post. It does not state that they are not separate countries. It does suggest that both are affected by Brexit. Go fuck yourself, dick breath. And quit being a troll.

Blue Origin 4D: Jeff Bezos’ follow-on to space tourism.

I know that the skateboard platforms are similar between the model S and X. If they share, or could share the identical skateboard, then perhaps the assembly lines could be combined without too much trouble. But the chances of that being true are probably not good.

Reading comprehension is a good thing. Try it sometime.

For not being in the UK, Brexit is causing a lot of problems for Ireland (both Ireland and Northern Ireland). So much so that you should probably say “independent country*.”

Don’t forget that a lot of cops are former soldiers, so any “militarization” probably makes them more comfortable as it’s familiar. But that can also breed an “us versus them” mindset.
