They’ll update that proprietary navigation system for a long time—provided you pay an obscene monthly or annual fee.

I worry about that too, but I had no problems finding the horn this morning when some ass-wipe turned in front of me almost causing a collision. The fact that my F150 has a horn that sounds like it came from a clown car didn’t help though.

New guy: “Maybe we should build reliable bikes.” “Wha-”

Damn you! Now I have to watch that episode again!

Drove a Chevy cargo van of the 70's era for my Dad’s business. Driving down the highway, you could quickly turn the steering wheel about 90° both left and right and maybe notice a slight response from the van.

Maybe we should just leave all three on the shore, jump in the boat and head downstream.

“Overseas.” You can’t make this stuff up. Well, okay, you can.

4th Gear: Meanwhile, all the owners of Fords with the crappy versions of Sync are screwed. I’m sure they enjoyed being beta testers and paying for the privilege.

I have a black F150, and I park on the West side of the building at work, just so that the truck is in shade for a couple of hours or so before I leave work. That makes a huge difference in both how hot the interior is when I get in, and how quickly the A/C cools it down. If you don’t have that option, a white car is

Let’s nitpick a little more and say that a transformer steps up/down AC voltage (and inversely current). You can never get more power out of a transformer than you put in, and actually get less due to losses. Power expressed in VI.

Manuals and diesels maybe, but to me CUVs are for the most part wagons that have been restyled so people who wouldn’t be caught dead in a wagon will buy them.

Sounds similar to my ex. Her issue was tailgating. Hope that’s the only big issue for you two.

George Carlin said something like “Everyone going slower than me is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a moron.”

The reverse is that people will pass, change lanes back in front of you, and then slow down to less than what you were doing while they were passing you. Go figure.

Yep, I for one will get into the left lane ‘early’ to make a left turn at one of the lights ahead. If you wait until shortly before the turn, there are enough asshats who won’t let you in to be a real problem. The ‘MILES’ ahead noted by sunburned would be excessive though, at least in most cases.

So the 2,500 workers Ford plans to move there will refuse to go? Some will quit, and Ford won’t be able to find replacements? Sure, whatever.

Hyundai is making a Sonata-like car for the Spanish market called the De nada.
