I don’t understand how you rationally end up with >$100K in debt unless you end up with an advanced or professional degree.  There are plenty fine state schools out there.

Lol here’s a massive fuck you from lots folks who graduated with a variety of different types of degrees and work in lots of different industries were starting salary is around $15/hour.

There are a million reasons you could be making $15/hr after an expensive college education and have done everything “right”.  See: social workers, teachers, certain med techs, marketing, writing, SO MANY THINGS.  A degree is enough to get you in the door (sometimes).  It doesn’t come with a salary guarantee.
