Eh, it’s not ugly, but it is just a hollow shell of its former self.  The original is dripping in beauty and elegance, while this just looks like someone posted a picture and had AI provide a modern take.

Jesus what the fuck is wrong with people and passing. I was driving to southern Utah last year and long lonely desert highway, caught up to a car doing 60 in a 70 zone, as soon as we got to a passing zone he speeds up to 80, then after that back to 60. So finally I get past him and then he tailgates me for miles. Dude

No matter which way he went, the truck stayed in his rearview mirror. Rosales eventually reached his home in Roswell, New Mexico”

I see what you mean. there is just a touch of softness to the originals that makes it look more inviting and playful, with a dash of confidence. She’s pretty and she knows it.

This is a genuine disappointment. I’m sure it’ll make a lot of money because rich collectors will buy anything limited edition, but it has the exact same problem as the recent Lamborghini Countach in that they directly evoked an iconic, nigh-perfect design with no way to replicate the exact proportions and ended up

Frankly, with the amount you drive and the age and efficiency of your car, you probably have a smaller carbon footprint keeping your ICE car rather than buying an EV, after you factor in the footprint of manufacture and disposal.

The government has a legal mandatory requirement to citizens to purchase a for-profit product but corporations don’t have a legal requirement to provide it.

The problem is: the Morgan Super 3 (the replacement for the 3 Wheeler) does steampunk much better. It’s also a good deal more expensive, but the Vanderhall just seems like a ersatz three-wheeler in place of the Morgan you really wanted. It feels like the Kia Amanti of trikes. Honestly, it continually amazes me that the person ultimately responsible for MAKING Teslas can be as stupid as he is and also be the world’s richest person

I used to think the same thing.

Blah Blah Blah the kid is black and Im a cop, Blah Blah Blah

This. Giving people more excuse to not pay attention will only cause more problems.

Or... and I know this sounds crazy... we can invest in drivers education programs, and increase the difficulty and/or the duration of training required before getting a drivers license.

Or they’ll just continue making drivers dumber, less attentive, and more distracted leading to no reduction in crashes while adding to even worse driving than we already have.

how much could working from home prevent?  or better city planning with no vehicles allowed in downtown areas.

Oh, thank God, what a relief. I was worried someone might make the argument guns are used impulsively. But apparently he could have murdered his wife with a chair, while his adult son sat by and watched, I guess? Fortunately it didn’t come to that.

One of the worst things that Musk has ever done is getting me to kind of like Zuckerberg a little bit.

In my experience, dump truck drivers are the worst kind of truck drivers on the road. They speed on all roads, take corners too hard, drop rocks all over the road, ride your ass at 70mph, drive in the left lane on 3 lane highways, use their airhorn when they have to wait for 2 seconds. Seriously, what gives?
