So aerodynamically efficient, too! I was blown away when I first discovered them and I found them to be really inspiring. Plus, I have a thing for tail fins.

I never get that add-on warranty stuff. There’s a manufacturer warranty to start, but aren’t they also prorated? I’ve bent three rims in 900k miles—two from excessive cases of driving like an asshole with two still working fine, but with a vibration—and all either replaced with used matches for $10, $1000 (for a whole

Wow, I knew it raced, but never saw photos!

So, he had just a C10 cab and shitty ‘90's bed sitting around and a Touareg (broken and needing the engine pulled to be fixed and he just said, fuck it, I’ll cut the body off to fix it?) and stuck them together, now he wants more than both complete vehicles would cost separately (sort of—C10s seem to be all over the

It doesn’t look right at all and the great lines of the original need no help.

About 25 years ago, there used to be a guy around here that daily drove a Type 55 in decent weather. I thought it was a really good fake, but it turned out he was a Bugatti restoration specialist. I love Bugattis, but for me those BAT cars are pure art and as absurd as $5 million is for any car, they’re about as close

And it’s a much newer market with few competitors. I imagine they’ll qualify for tax incentives, too. I wonder if we’ll see more of this kind of thing.

I can imagine those are both worse than general cars (I have known some cool car people, but they’re exceptions). I started out as a right leaning centrist, but now I’m left leaning (today’s out-there right wing people would call me a communist either way), but I like guns—the history, mechanics, precision (ideally!) m

I haven’t had any car friends in years and this kind of obsessive single-mindedness is partly why. These Tesla people, though . . . that’s a whole level of identity association with a consumer product that I can’t even fathom.

This seems a bizarre criticism if he’s been critical of Teslas. In any case, a big reason it shouldn’t have much effect on sales is because there really isn’t an alternative in that space. What’s a Model 3 or Y direct competitor?—the Bolt GM can’t give away? Model S, OK, there’s the Porsche and I think Tesla needs to

I suspect it’s a noticeable weakness, but having two engines is probably pretty fun in itself. Especially with those old transmissions, I’m sure they would have preferred manuals, but the amount of fiddling to get it right is probably something their bosses wouldn’t have wanted to budget for. It would probably also

Manual transmissions would require the shifting be synchronized, but in order to run them separately, they would also have to be able to be selectively neutraled independent of one another. With an auto, they can just shift themselves according to load and rpm as normal.

It’s quite the dramatic change for the good, for sure. The grille is ridiculous, but maybe some body color paint along the bottom or something would help it. I don’t know why this is an industry trend. I can’t recall ever reading or hearing praise for it over a more subtle and cohesive alternative.

I hate to say some of these because of history, but they’re also no longer relevant, barely extant, and/or any model still selling can be rolled into another brand.
Timing is terrible, but sell Maserati to someone who might care—there’s too much overlap with Alfa, not enough reliability, not enough remaining mystique.

Road head is not just for guys.

It looks like the foot pedals would need to be used for bracing, making them unusable as fine control inputs. Besides those . . . particular ergonomics do not appeal to me.

My sister has some kind of automatic “box” (actually more of a sideways egg shape) that rotates the waste into a container underneath. I guess it’s much easier to clean and it doesn’t smell (that or it’s just because they’re on top of cleaning it). I’m sure it wasn’t cheap, but I’m also sure this woman can afford it.

And how many small animals and birds have her free range cats killed? But if she doesn’t care about her invasive species killing largely indigenous ones, coyotes have learned how to adapt quite well to suburban environs. I have trail cam footage of one casually carrying the front half of a cat up my driveway in the

I’ve seen filled toilet bowls that look nicer. I wouldn’t buy a car that looked like that for any price, never mind whatever ripoff premium they’re charging for this monstrosity with BMW’s poor reputation for reliability.

Even at stock power, this is stupid. He might as well just say it makes 5,000 hp because who gives a shit when it’s not capable of safely putting down a small fraction of that. On stretched tires and ugly wheels, too, but B and C seem to go with A followed by the stupid lower windshield banner.
