Manual transmissions would require the shifting be synchronized, but in order to run them separately, they would also have to be able to be selectively neutraled independent of one another. With an auto, they can just shift themselves according to load and rpm as normal.

It’s quite the dramatic change for the good, for sure. The grille is ridiculous, but maybe some body color paint along the bottom or something would help it.
