Wouldn’t it be unusual for Tom?

I completely agree, which is why I have an entire list of foods I won’t eat. But, to each their own. My doctor told me no sushi. I know other women whose doctors’ said, sure you can have sushi, but only at “good places.” I wouldn’t risk that. But, like I said before, people make questionable health decisions all the

I have no opinion as to whether dye is healthy or not for a baby. I don’t give a shit what people do and do not eat during pregnancy. Growing a human being is super hard and people can make their own decisions as to what they do and do not want to eat.

But if you don’t post every bit of your life to Instagram are you really living?

That’s objectively terrible advice though! Overheating is an actual concern, if I remember correctly! God dammit, people, shut UP.

If she was eating a bowl of cereal and someone snapped an unsolicited picture of her and posted it to the Internet and then people started commenting about her nutrition...then I absolutely agree with you. None of their business.

Really? I was pregnant twice in Minnesota winters and both times I ran so hot that I walked around with my jacket open when it was almost zero.

It’s the internet. If there’s a place for comments, you’re inviting comments. Even stupid ones.

My friend is seven months along now and Canada is starting to get a bit cold, but nothing crazy - I’ve mostly been in sweaters or light jackets this month - and apparently people keep telling her she needs to wear more layers to “protect” the baby. She said she was too hot and someone literally told her “You can’t be

What do you mean? Why did she put up a picture of her eating cereal if not for attention? She IS soliciting comments by using a social media site to post things to strangers.

Whoa, I was allll ready to say “god, just assume the person knows, I hated all those passive aggressive ‘just so you know...’ speeches,” but I ALSO didn’t know there was any problem with chamomile tea, and it’s only my sheer exhaustedness while pregnant that is the reason I didn’t drink much of it (maybe not any? I

Yup. And there’s the whole crew of “you haven’t gained enough, your baby is going to be too small and jaundiced and wrinkled, blah. Here let me show you Ph.D. I got from WebMD and internet forums.”

When I was pregnant, I got both “You shouldn’t be eating that BLANK” condescension and “Oh pshaw, you’re ridiculous to be concerned about eating BLANK even though your doctor told you not to, what does he know.” You can’t win. It’s bullshit.

It’s not just peeing blood. There is a laundry list of abnormal lab values for which ridiculous exercise is a potential cause. The clinician is left to ask whether the person has cancer or just ran a marathon.

Am I the only one that feels re: this and Ghostbusters, that I would vastly prefer a brand new movie that casts women? Rather than the weird, gimmicky, "lets make the same movie only this time we will take lady money!"

The idea of remaking it is cringe-worthy. It feels patronizing, like if we want to see ourselves represented, we have to put up with movies full of cliches about women being shrill and desperate, or take hand-me-downs of other movies written for men. Why bother seeing it? It’s not that I don’t want to see movies with

Yeah there are a lot of people who disagree with me but my opinion is that unless you are a unique person, marathoning becomes significantly detrimental.

Miley Cyrus smokes weed?

Respect for Katy Perry for not being something sexy.

Jackie Cruz was Priscilla Presley, she had an Elvis with her....
