As a car designer who got an education recently in Europe I was in contact with Holden design team a few years ago... things were bleak back then and worse now as evidence of the demise of domestic Holden products. I’ve a huge passion for this brand but now absolutely no chance of moving back to throw my life behind

Want to smear your grubby mitts all over the front of that shiny concept car any more?

Ha yeah I think it’s very love/hate. I love it, maybe it’s my Scottish roots.

My recent purchase: Porsche 924, the tartan spoke to me!!!

My point exactly, so put it in a car that that actually has some excitement about it. Not a 2 tonne barge with so much sound deadening and exhaust baffling that V8 will never be heard.

These are the kinds of vehicles that need to have Electric/Hydrogen drivetrains.

This NP or CP hits home.
Took the plunge on a £4000 1980 924 a couple months ago (pictured).

Been fun so far. Pretty agricultural to drive but WAY better than my 1973 RX4.

I think originality is the key here so minus points on the green but bonus points on the low price. NP

Ahh ok that makes sense. Would love to know the economics of this for VW. How much the ‘buy back’ program cost vs how much they are recouping from these auction sales.

So who gets the money when sold back to the public?
If VW bought them back as a corporation, does the dealer pay VW when they re-sell a ‘fixed’ TDI but take a commission?

Superfluous you say....?

Agree with the odd name comments but apparently it translates to ‘come get it’ in whichever their language is...

I’d say 2018... this thing looks incredible up close!

“Blackpool, England is historically known for two three local icons”

So i own a 1973 929 coupe with this exact drive train (I’d be surprised if this was a 5sp, should be a 4sp) and its SUPER reliable, simple to work on and inexpensive. Mazda used the same engine/trans combo till the mid 80s in cars such as the 626 etc so bits are very easy to find.

With a bit of head work and a decent

Even as an E30 enthusiast and owner, i gotta say CP.
It would still be a maybe at $15-17K

Cars in the UK are cheap (coming from an Australian living in the UK.
The few cars I’ve bought

UNICORN! Apparently there are just 3(!!) of these registered in the entire UK.

A Model S would meet those requirements... for the first 300 miles (then the kids push).

The perfect Amsterdam car... oddball, handsome and eco ‘friendly’.
It was FILTHY though, so probobly broken.

That Cosmo is ‘only’ the 13B variant...
