Omg. I just watched it all this week and I’m really sad. I understand that Connie Britton can’t star in a cable show, I guess, but it was reported she offered to stay the whole season.

Late to this and dealing wth some major grief. They were finally happy. Why couldn’t they just end the damn show or accept her offer to stay for the season? I guess the rest of the cast has nothing better to do and it’s highly rated for CMT, but still. How miserable!!!

The question of whether a president can pardon himself is pretty esoteric and didn’t come up in law school/bar for me... We studied Nixon, but mainly through the lens of the Supreme Court cases that actually did come up, like the tapes.

Beautiful. I work in the foster care system in neighboring Georgia and can tell you homes like this are few and far between! We have lots of good foster homes, but more families with several children who can’t be placed together and some rough uphill battles for biological parents.
