My family isn’t that big on gift giving. We just tell each other a few things we actually want and the other person buys it for them. That way we all get something we really wanted. Have you thought about just telling him what you would like?

My kitty loves it when I hold her like a baby, pet her face and tell her she’s pretty. I kinda croon it to her, “your so pretty, your so pre-ty.”

I recommended it before but I read it twice in the last year and think it is really good: The Rook by Daniel O’Malley. It is a fun ride. If you like it there is a sequel that is pretty good too but the first one is superb.

I shower in the late afternoon. I like to sleep in so I can’t do mornings and when it is warm outside I sometimes see roaches at night. I let my fear of bugs and happiness of sleeping in dictate when I shower.

I add supermarket chicken to mixed veggies from the freezer and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Throw that mix between store bought pie dough and you have chicken pot pie.

I would love for Castro to run. He was speaking at my library and I literally talked to him after, shook his hand, and told him he should run for president. He is super funny too. Check out this video of him talking to “siri” on his new iphone.

I’m totally with you. They are starchier when they still have green on them. I can’t stand ripened bananas. If my bananas get ripe then I just let them overripe to throw in the freezer for banana bread for that is the only way I can stomach bananas without a bit of green.
