David the waiter was Reed Diamond, best known for Homicide: Life on the Street, which Giancarlo Esposito was also briefly on.

And it wasn’t even written by Barsanti!

Yeah, even by current AV Club’s “sneery killjoy” standards, this is really sneery and killjoy-y.

This has gone to a weird place. Not for popular black comedians refusing to cool it on the jokes about queer people (that goes back to Arsenio Hall and Kenan Ivory Wayans), but for Sarandos.

Schmoozer? I would have gone with Hoosier featuring the wonderful history of Indiana.

The main thing Never Been Kissed has going for it is that Mike Stoklasa and Rich Evans are in it.

George Wallace was excellent in this.

There is the weird caveat that everyone they investigate isn't smart enough to use a search engine. As users become more computer savvy, Nev's detective work will grow more complex, with Max playing the role of an incredulous Dr. Watson.
