true, I just thought Pete had already went through the motions on this already and was past his exploratory committee phase. There was an already an article on here about Gillibrand doing the same thing but with the tone of “hadn’t she already announced? god won’t this end” a few weeks back

He formed an exploratory committee already, but this was his kickoff. You form the committee first and do a few campaign style things and fund raise so you don’t go through all the paperwork to find out you’re Howard Schultz and everyone hates you, or that no one cares enough to show up and give you money.

Uhhh....whatever else you might think about how genuine his progressive signaling is, I’m going to go ahead and assume his criticism of Pence is genuine.
