“I don’t blame the airlines for the seat recline “problem””

If there was more room between seat rows we would care a whole lot less about someone reclining their seat. 

maybe just make the seats farther apart so i don’t have to disassemble and stow everything below the waist in the overhead bins during the flight...

Sad how self-absorbed and selfish people have become - or maybe it’s always been that way, and I’m just more crotchety in my older years. Rare to see anyone check to see what the person behind them is doing before reclining.

Good. Maybe in the days of 1970s seat pitches reclining made sense, but it’s a real mess today. I’d much rather just have it banned entirely in coach.

I think most people who fly all the time kind of knows the unwritten rule of not reclining seats out of consideration for the person behind them.

This is a great move on Delta’s part.

So what’s the problem?

I’m okay with this as I have an uneasy Russian-roulette like fear that the person in front of me will suddenly recline and crush the top edge of my MacBook screen.

The reason this has become an issue, is because airlines are doing a poorer and poorer job of keeping its passengers comfortable.
