I’m not a big NFL fan or anything, but IMHO, anyone who is old enough to have dodged the draft and can still be competitive at professional sports deserves at least some kind of respect.

If it’s such a safety concern, why not just reschedule the eclipse to happen at night when there won’t be as many people on the roads?

And traffic jams do not keep you from moving from place to place. You are perfectly within your rights to drive a different route, take mass transit, walk, bike, or stay your ass at home. You are not being impeded, you are not a victim.

1- I feel really bad for all of the Jalopnik readers that need to see articles about the NYC subway every day, but don’t live anywhere near it. Even I’m tired of seeing it here, and I ride the subway every day.

No one is being “penalized”. What is wrong with all you bootlickers? They make money at the pleasure of the rest of us. “You didn’t build that” etc. That they get to keep any money is their reward.
