Which is why it’s so baffling to me that it’s taken this long to get a footprint in the south for MLS. They’ll never overtake the NHL in longtime hockey markets, but ATL/Charlotte/Florida? That’s ripe for the taking.

I think this is right. But I also think that MLS will be a “big league” (in America, anyway) in 20, 25 years, and I can see it being #2 (behind the NBA) in 30-40. I think part of the problem is that the owners are spending money and acting like it’s a major league now, which it just isn’t.

But I imagine they could at least beat the....

I feel like speaking about the Christmas truce as though it were some game theory bullshit fails to appreciate the actual reasons it occurred. The war wasn’t popular at all. When it first broke out, there was a popular sentiment that, given the powers involved and the history of wars of the prior 4-5 decades (the

I’ll never forget when David Ortiz died in that plane crash in 1972. A genuine tragedy.

Yeah, he seems kind of derpy, and he definitely got the sort of “Hogan push” that tends to make me hate the faces. But also, he seems like a genuinely good dude, someone who respects the booking and the kayfabe process, and doesn’t make a huge fuss when he’s asked to drop for someone else; someone who’s worked hard to

Neutral: How much does quality matter to you? Take the Alfa Romeo Giulia for example. The public anticipation and love for that thing was unreal. But as we’ve seen from multiple outlets (this one included), it’s horrifically unreliable. Would something objective like poor quality deter you from buying subjectively?

Did he donate any of the money from the eBay sale to the Disabled Veteran’s Thrift Store?

Let’s be fair, this was a three game sweep of a Tigers team that takes direction from Jack Sparrow’s compass.

This right here is a load of crap and Walmart should be called on it. Their social team was commending and praising people that got in/ordered on. If it was a glitch they wouldn’t be responding. They straight up bait and switched.. and Walmart needs the hammer put to them for this crap.

I think the thing that really irritates me is that I have trouble believing it was a glitch. It took them until Wed. to cancel the orders? It feels like this is just a (shady) response to all the salt online by people who were shut out so far (Best Buy did some pre-orders too, right?). Hopefully that’s not the case.

$20 sunglasses?!?!? Well laaaaa-deeee-dahhh, Mr. Zuckerberg.

The problem with Kid A being on here is that it suggests that Kid A is the worst Radiohead album, and I don’t think that’s actually a possible opinion for someone to have. If you think it’s too beepity-bloopity there are later albums you’ll hate more, and otherwise obviously Pablo Honey is the worst.

Radiohead’s “Kid A” is on this list and so therefore the entire list is categorically invalid.

I will stand at your back and fight with you. I immediately thought this as I saw both Kid A and Sgt. Pepper. SMH.

I feel like she just picked albums she knew of and then randomly assigned some numbers to them.

“Assuming, of course, clear skies...”

I work at a university. We’ve been encouraged to “be creative” about allowing students to see the eclipse and a group in my program is lobbying for full all-day class cancellation.
