Windows Phone 7 also has a built-in functionality for this. It is functionally very similar to Find My iPhone.

Hey everyone. Just got a new phone and I would really like to prevent dust from getting behind the glass in the LCD. One would think that the best solution would be to cover up all the holes (speaker, headphone jack, docking port, etc.) but that doesn't seem very practical. Any ideas?
For those of us who don't have xboxes and are comfortable with a little tinkering, there's always the trusty GParted LiveCD:
Another thing: If you're jammin' with your noise-canceling headphones and a serious emergency occurs (as the article points out, this is most likely to happen during take-off or landing), you could remain oblivious for longer than is safe for you and your fellow passengers. Nothing to do with RFI, but a good enough…
I have one of those clear plastic retainers that is molded to the shape of my teeth. I wear it at night and clean it daily, but there is still a bunch of plaque accumulating on it. I have tried toothpaste, denture-cleaning tablets, and baking soda, but I still can't get it clean. Oh, and I can't put it in the…
I would not recommend a messenger bag if you are going to be transporting a laptop, especially one that is that big. I tried that back in high-school with my old 15"er and it did a real number on my shoulders. My bag of choice is an Eastpack Huston. It has pockets up the wazoo, plenty of space, and a 30-year…
How is this done in OSX?
DSL in Germany is a lost cause, at least in my town. The huge demand for high-speed internet is met with feeble efforts to get *any* internet to all the people who want it, let alone fast internet. Most of the time, my wifi is slower than a decent 3G connection.
For $70, they better be.
Can it function as a region-free DVD player like VLC?
Apple's app store does a pretty good job of it. The only problem (for me) is that most of the apps I actually use are open-source and aren't distributed through it. Maybe this would improve if Apple wasn't so tough on what people can put on it.
This way's not nearly as classy, but it involves putting dry ice into a smashed plastic bottle to keep it from burning your lips. Come to think of it, this could probably be used for normal ice as well.
I wonder if it AMOLED is any better with regards to eye-strain.
Will this work on cars or does it mess up the paint?
Thanks, everyone! Zipcar seems practical. I might look into that. I would go online and get a quote, but I would need a US address and phone number.
Hey all,
I have the V330 and I can't complain about the scan quality. This trick might come in handy for 120mm film, though.
One method that supposedly works for some people (I have not tried it myself) is to replace your addiction with something else, like an apple, every time you get a craving. Good luck.

This is becoming increasingly common in countries like the US, where most people only have 2 choices for ISPs: existing phone company or existing cable company. Many Europeans are very lucky to have their market regulated to where the companies that own the lines have to lease them out if the customer wants to use…
