Exactly this. Elon was brilliant at exactly 2 things - buying into companies at the right time and being an excellent salesman. Now that it’s been revealed that he’s an idiot, he can’t be a great salesman anymore, and the Twitter buy really makes it seem like he’s not so great at buying in at the right time anymore…

Say what you want about Elon, I think he’s a brilliant engineer.

Musk has ZERO engineering experience. He pays people to be engineers they are also incapable of telling him no, because he doesn’t believe in the word “no”. He only knows “now” and “yes”.

His moves have been incredibly boneheaded over the years, it’s just finally catching up with him, NOW.

and Musk himself has already used it to spread disinformation about the attack on Paul Pelosi.

I think it’s also important to point out that far weirder shit than this has been used in real life espionage, such as van Eck phreaking, a technique where an antenna is pointed at a computer monitor and the radiation emitted by that monitor is captured, allowing the attacker to get a copy of what’s on the screen.

A. It was the first multi-publisher launcher, and having ONE central hub for your games is fine. Launching a launcher FROM YOUR LAUNCHER is the problem. That and publishers trying to force you to abandon your launcher in favor of their thing.
