After playing the three hour headstart demo, I have to agree with many of your points. The characters are all super cliche to the point, and I definitely felt that disconnect when you have a party of characters and the story pretends that they don’t exist.

Except with an airplane, a pilot rarely has to deal with high concentration of planes in close proximity. This allows more time for a pilot to react versus driving where reaction time requirement is a lot higher.
I support Steams more hands-off approach and only intervene when necessary. One of the reason why I buy games off GOG and other storefronts over Steam is because they tend to be more hands-off.

Since people are wondering, it’s almost a straight port of the PSP version. The differences are the updated textbox, cleaner menu/HUD, and HD portraits during dialogues. Everything else is just the same as the PSP game.
