That sounds like bullshit on AA’s pricing practices. I get a trip with a layover (A>B>C) being cheaper than two direct flights (A>B, B>C), but if A>B>C is a cheaper ticket than just A>B, that’s just shitty pricing.

because the truck belonged to her.”

He’s a discount Viscount at best.

So last week we were visiting Montreal, and we booked a walking tour.

Double the price and it sets on fire? Sign me up!

Tesla claimed that it underestimated the installation costs.

worked with a woman who spent around 7500 on one 10 years ago- she was earning maybe 50k per year at the time, she also had to park her car in her moms garage so it wouldn’t get repo’d

“It don’t even exist anymore. I can’t even use it. I paid $4,000 for an extended warranty for three years, 38,000 miles,”...... Yikes!

I don’t know who were the salesperson at that dealership but they were really good salesperson indeed.

Who blows $10k on a fucking hand bag?

What’s the target demographic for those? I feel like people who want huge obnoxious trucks don’t want an EV at all.

Manufacturers stopped building economy cars - but most people can’t afford expensive models.  They’ve completely forgotten the lessons taught us by Henry Ford.

They’re bringing back the 6 cyl F100 pickup?  Add me to the list!

I guess it’s similar to the Ford Flex, but I actually liked those cars.

Look at the Honda Element. Apparently they didn’t have enough sales to keep the assembly line open, but they are hot now used. Simple supply and demand.

I would love if nobody buys them.

...there’s no such thing as a 1-day supply of Hummers on lots, let alone a 100-day. They been delivering a demos to every dealer in the US the past month and have been listing them for sale...but they can’t sell them for 6+ months, just trying to get people in the door. They didn’t make a single customer delivery in th

Yeah...I buy cars with cash, but current EV’s only make sense to me as leases because emerging tech is going to crush their cost of ownership equation.  I can see hitting the well depreciated used market for a crap can Leaf for the kid.  But I am waiting for the right circumstance if real money is to be spent.

It’s not exactly surprising that a lot of us aren’t in the market for a new electric vehicle; most Americans can’t actually afford a new vehicle of any type, let alone one with a price premium. My household’s income is well over double the median annual income, and a new EV just isn’t in the cards. Most people who are

The other issue is just getting used to the idea. I first got an Audi PHEV, and after a few months got so used to the plugging in and EV modes, I ended up getting a full EV as well. But I would have never considered it until I had lived with a plug in hybrid for a few months first.

They cost more and the tech isn’t good enough yet. It’s getting better and some people can justify them but for many there are still far too many inconveniences compared to what they currently own.
