Here’s my take (having driven none of them): Almost all supercars.

This was my first thought. No matter how much BMW adds weight and overcomplicates their cars, the auto-press creams their jeans for it, especially the 3/4 series.

I dont think these things are overrated... Most people see these things as turds from start to finish. my wife knows almost nothing about cars, and was like “the fuck is that? it looks horrible.” the first time she ever saw one. when i think overrated, id think more along the lines of a 4runner... the car kinda sucks…

Yeah, but consumer decisions don’t make a car over or under rated - just, perhaps, not ideal for their actual use. As one of (now) two 4WD convertible SUVs on the market - with a rich history and significant capability for the people who use it as intended, I don’t think you can call the Jeep overrated.  Just…

hm. I’ve never thought of the Jeep as modular so much as a car with a really big hardtop. No matter what configuration it’s in, it’s always a Jeep.
