Or did the car catch fire inside of the trailer? At concourses, there is always an extinguisher placed by one of the rear wheels (I hate photoshopping them out, but they do serve a purpose).

Can’t we install pop-out wheels for towing? Like on Heelys? Or will our dystopic future still have tons of tow trucks available?

This makes more sense. Otherwise, it would be as if “No Fear” was $1.2B in debt.

All of them. Gimme power windows and locks, and a way to dock my phone and I am good to go.

I hope you’re wrong, but I still starred your comment because I fear that you’re not.

If Rivian manages to stay afloat until the R2 comes on steam, they should take a sizable chunk from Tesla. I personally know two people (the only Tesla owners I know to begin with) who are waiting to unload their Model 3s in favor of an R2; one of them already has an R1 and loves it.

Is there a sizable Vietnamese community in Toronto? I cannot imagine any other reason for buying one.

If Stellantis goes under, they could pick up a handful of additional brands that cannibalize each other.

As a hard-left radical, I am giggling slash blinking confusedly.

Nah, bring back Talbot and Plymouth instead. And create more, pointless standalone “brands” from old model names like Wagoneer and DS (I suggest Savoy, Dynasty, and Kapitän). Maybe revive the Canada-only “Epic” brand of rebadged Vauxhalls?

It’s very shortsighted. Like the Stellantis leadership I, too, am invested in the survival of Opel, Peugeot, Citroën, and so on and I am happy to milk Mopar to keep them operating - but if making it work triple shifts with no food kills the goose that lays golden eggs, then the brands you love will surely go under as

I think the math only maths if you open the cans and pour them in there. 36 quarts is 1152 fluid ounces, or 96 12-ounce cans.

I love that this exists, but this is also a deeply unharmonius and downright goofy design. There are reasons why Ghia ended up as a Ford trim level.

So we had the dot-com bubble, the south sea bubble, the housing bubble... I still don’t know if this is going to be called the AI-bubble or the Tesla-bubble.

8 also signifies wealth in Chinese numerology; at least that would provide him with a fig leaf.

It’s so close that I am still not a 100% convinced that it is sarcasm.

I used a Ford Focus Wagon to move house, including about 2,500 pounds of books, and ended up never even getting a U-Haul. I meant to throw it away afterwards, but it just won’t give up.

Facile A Financier, Facile A Fabriquer! FAF! Yep, the CT looks a lot like the slew of 1970s designs intended for third world countries.

That’s horrible. Don’t ever visit NYC; all the areas of my house that have gloss paint were literally dripping with water last week because of the humidity levels.

I would love to know when the idea of AWD and 4WD being separate definitions started taking hold. Earlier, it seemed that many used AWD to denote any permanent four-wheel drive systems, whereas 4WD meant switchable four-wheel drive. But now, 4WD means locking diffs and AWD means viscous systems (or other non-locking
