My wife dailies an RHD and my car is RHD (I commute by train, though). We have an old beater Ford Focus wagon as backup, should parts supply issues keep us out of our JDM cars.

Never realized how lucky I am in my NYC suburb - 0% HOAs. The town doesn’t allow street parking overnight and they are very strict on work w/o a permit, but I consider those benefits. They will also plant trees in your yard or in front of your house for no charge, if requested.
