They’ll skip ahead of the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8C Monterosa, of which three to six examples were built by hand in the late 1940s. Just as relevant and useful, too.

My favorite car to drive has 48hp, so I got you beat. Although my old, 70hp Chevrolet Turbo Sprint was more fun, so I guess a little more power couldn’t hurt.
I know; I am on team Station Wagon/Herrgårdsvagn/Break/Kombi/Estate and am in no way criticizing the E30 Touring - it is on my top-twenty list of cars to own before I die (already checked off the 505 and 240 Wagon). I just disagree with Emslie describing it as some sort of utilitarian workhorse; this is more of a…
The E30 Touring is one of may all-time favorites, but I wouldn’t call them utilitarian or load-haulers.
They were fairly successful, but they were not load haulers by any stretch. The E30 Touring was developed by some BMW engineers in their spare time, and thus was a bit compromised, with a pretty small loading space and a very awkwardly shaped cargo opening. Only about 20 inches between the taillights, as it uses the…
They did offer the 324td engine in the Touring as well; 7,390 were built.
Waaaaaayyyyy too many extras, but those could possibly be sold off to defray the too-high price. Also, various BMW experts have told me to stay away from the iX due to various complications and added weight.
Yeah, since the Explorer is an SUV’d Ranger, if you turn the Explorer into a pickup it’s kind of the same thing. It’s a bit like when BMW turns a sedan into a coupé and then makes a four-door version of the coupé - in both cases you can charge more for the more convoluted variant.
Sorry, I don’t have much experience dealing with grown-ups on the internet. Looks like they’re going down one way or another, at least.
Yes. I had been hoping to come across as being sarcastic, but no worries.
Oh, how could this possibly be stopped? If only there was some legislative body that could, you know, make and enforce rules for stuff.
I would have voted NP if it was 68K, but no matter how nice it looks it will need things with that kind of mileage.
I put a new windshield on my 2003 Focus two years ago, and it cost $600 - it felt like a lot, but I guess I was lucky. God I hate that car.
It might just be Elon living rent-free in my head, but they do look rather Musky to me.
Well, color me surprised! Good to see that knobs drive all sorts of machines and not just what we expect.
I missed this, did anyone mention the Turbots from Spirou et Fantasio? Never mind: twenty seconds of research shows that Sbarro already made one!
Which MTC? The Multistate Tax Commission or the Manhattan Theatre Club? I’d love to see the cribs of the members of either organization.
Yup. There is only two or three cars I’d be interested in owning, but it is a collection which reflects the owner and his fancies. You can tell these brought him joy (except maybe Bugzilla).
As someone who feels that the anti-semitism label is often used inappropriately - this is not one of those times. Musk is undeniably making anti-semitic statements.
All I see is that the Israeli government bashed her for having posted in solidarity with Palestinians being massacred. If you are referring to Palästina Spricht then you are in error; simply speaking in favor of Palestinian lives is not anti-semitic.
