Welp, still cheaper than NYC. Also, from my experience there, having a car is truly an unnecessary luxury. But it was kind of a crap place for someone who enjoys looking at cars - I saw more of interest in a few hours across the causeway than I did in eight days in Singapore.

I think they are both indefensible.

Exactly - as has been brought up by so many already, a large subset of the population always put Premium gas in their cars that are perfectly happy with 87. This will only become more and more of an issue.

No one has suggested anything like that. All they are saying is that if you have a slower charging EV and you have the option between different chargers, don’t use the fast one.

If you have the option between slow and fast, then yes, absolutely, why are you even asking? Always act as you would hope others would act if the situation was reversed. I am sure Kant would have been happy to use EV charges to illustrate his reasoning.

In Sweden we don’t; the floor numbers would always confuse us when we went south.

I don’t understand people. My wife’s a nurse, so I have decent insurance - but that doesn’t mean I will vote against universal healthcare since I am not the only person who matters. Also, people do lose their jobs and situations change.

Law enforcement was fifty feet away and obviously uninterested. So far they’ve done no more work than any commenter here.

What the F kinda “crew” doesn’t whup their buddies ass when he does something like that?

I think perhaps your notion of “end times” differs from mine. Gimme a 1971 International pickup truck, please. Can be fixed with a hammer and some baling wire.

Despite his crimes, the man had decent taste in cars”

I am the other way around - the calm and balanced exterior of the 11th Accord (assuming that’s the current one) looks leagues better than the aggro teenage look of the previous model. It almost as if Honda alternates their target audience between generations, which is pretty smart. Wait for the 12th gen and you will

Is Tesla Stellantis? No new models, just turning up the wick every so often.

I live a half mile into Long Island and work in NYC. We have three cars but I commute by train and frequently take my bike to the store; last time I filled up was in late August... I think it was $3.69 back then. It was my kei car, so I got a full tank and change back from a $20.

You ever hear of sarcasm? He is stating that PTSD cannot be used as an excuse for psychotic behavior.

I should hate this but I cannot.

This is what everyone thought when the car was new, too. No one ever ever thought the Camargue made any sense or was particularly impressive - which is, of course, the reason I want one. I love illogicality.

Knock off 7 grand to get the old-style wheels with hubcaps and whitewalls and it’s a deal.

Consider yourself not included in that sweeping statement. Not all Jeeps, but so many belong to insecure ten-year-olds who think that they have a duty to show bicyclists that the Road Belongs to Them. FWIW, I have owned Wranglers myself, drove coast-to-coast in a ‘94 with the four-cylinder. Took a while.

I take it you’re not a golfer?
