Not doing their jobs is kind of part of why people hate them. I actively miss the cops in Berlin - polite, intelligent, respectful, and well trained.

Name one.

Possibly. Add $4-5K to import and then another $10K to make the engine CARB compliant. This car is easily worth $40K in California, assuming that there is paperwork confirming the emissions compliance.

For more of the same, I suggest reading the constitution of the USSR. It’s actively hilarious.

Someone that crazy probably sent the Twitcher pins, updating her on his progress towards Ohio. Definitely easy to find.

So then you just keep treating him, in confinement.

This checks out. Have a high margin on your big sellers and a slimmer margin on your showcase efforts. When I ran a wine program, the margin on our oaked chardonnay by the glass (ugh) was twice the average for the rest of the list. Let the fools subsidize those with taste...

She wasn’t doing a bang up job as a parent already. It is rare that a kid is better off in the system, but this could well be one of these situations.

A very slack Beaver.

On the other hand, AutoPilot will only operate under particularly easy conditions. Very hard to create a proper apples-to-apples comparison with so many nebulous variables.

Great to see the legal system make the right decision. Whew.

My friend’s grandma was a lesbian baseball player who once beat the ever living crap out of a r*pist during WW2. Some grandmas make pretty good role models. (he actually made a movie about her, called “a Secret Love”. I hope the title wasn’t his choice.)

I mean, we have to make lots of new kids so that school shooters can have something to aim at, right?

What’s funny is how hard it is to get NY temp plates as a regular person - it’s harder than just getting a real plate. You almost never see NY Temps in NY, but it makes sense that false ones proliferate in other states.

Can you please be metric? 932 miles is 1,500km; the illusion of precision in 932 or 621 (i.e., 1000km) is misguiding.

Just wait until literally everyone is gray.

Obviously you are aware of this, but I will say it for others: Remote start is a wildly pointless function and it harms your car to idle from cold until warm. It also wastes a modicum of gas, but more seriously emissions levels are very high until the catalytic converters are warm - which takes longer in a car that is

Yeah, but I don’t feel confident enough that the explosives are fully disconnected to plop my kid in front of it. In my old non-airbag car I do it (because only waist belts in the rear), but since many police officers are also under the impression that it’s illegal I carry a printout of the actual paragraphs of the NYS

Stupidity is nothing new. When I was young (around 1997) I had a co-worker at Red Lobster who bought a brand new Dodge Ram V10, short wheelbase. Awesome car, but I only saw it twice because she’d ususally drive her mom’s Plymouth Colt because she couldn’t afford to fill up the Ram. She was an awesome co-worker, always

It is not illegal in New York State, but it differs from place to place. It is not a great idea if you have a passenger side airbag, though.
