As a bicyclist, I assure you that they most likely noticed. Keeping track of cars and trucks to preempt getting ran over takes up about forty percent of my computing capacity while bicycling (forty percent is on dealing with broken pavement/potholes etc, fifteen percent is background noise, and five percent is on the r

I can’t make a good decision unless I can compare their hindquarters.

Tailfins + top hat are surprising.

To me it looks like a merger of a Reliant Sabre and a Ferrari 250GT - a not altogether unfortunate combo, but peculiar. A fair amount of Daimler SP250 in there, too, but I guess most 50s fibreglass sports car designs have a lot in common.

I think brake checks are pretty high on the list of dangerous acts.

There is an Onion article with a guy who puts up an American flag after 9/11 and then can’t figure out how and when to take it down again; we should make everyone read that before commenting.

Hmmm, before you get quite so drastic, imagine if they were demonstrating in favor of something you (and I) agreed with. I think a little more restraint will only help, although perhaps a tad bit less restraint than that already exhibited by the Canadian government.

Finally someone says it.

Awww, Tiff Needell. Never had cable growing up, so visiting my uncle’s place meant I would get to see some of these shows. Pure magic. Back then, Eurosport would show all sorts of racing, too, with only commentary and minimum commercials.

Was Kinja designed by Lucas?

Yep. I go through there every day and it has a weird feeling of being besieged by homeless. Currently, security is ample and is keeping the unhoused away, but it feels as if some staff cuts will instantly make this into a giant, marble-floored shelter.
