I photograph cars in the streets (nerd alert) and whenever I am even near a police station with a camera; cops will pop up immediately and ask me what I am doing. Like within seconds. This is beyond fishy.

Huh, my student loan debt was nearly $75K after grad school. My salary was $43K (in 2018: architects are not wealthy, rom-coms notwithstanding). Felt overwhelming, but I refinanced twice and have managed to pay down $20K in 30 months. It’s better than having it grow with deferments, and now there is only seven years…

I am on the left, and whatever this cultural war is doesn’t represent me. Nor does Dave Chappelle, in case anyone wondered. So tired.

It can be very hard to get an intelligent, seven-year old girl to reveal what’s in their gourd. But when she opens up it’s always interesting.

Yes, so much yes. And I am glad you acknowledge how hard it can be not to mention the cuteness - my seven-year-old daughter is so beautiful that it hurts to look at her, but I don’t in any way want to reduce her to her appearance.

Aha, so she now won’t settle for the 2014... rough. “Here, try the $19 glass next to the $14 glass” is exactly how I would upsell wines when I ran a restaurant.  

Several good deals there. The only problem being that the Arteon’s resale value is unlikely to match that of the 4Runner.

He ACTUALLY needs a measure of off-road capability, so I haven’t recommended a wagon to him. One of those rare people whose Highlander is actually used the way they are in commercials. Not sure why he thinks the minivan will be fine.
