My father-in-law glued some of those red bits (well, some are dark orange and some are crimson because they are all made in China) onto his Forester; I guess Subaru themselves didn’t try much harder. He also refers to this as having “made the car sportier.”

I really would prefer the road car... I was that kid who removed the liveries on my toy cars so that they would look like the street versions.

The only sporty Puma I can think of is the Brazilian one, which looks nothing like a Sabra. So I am not sure either.

In this case, the system is obstructing justice. Not sure a doxxing is justified yet, but it sure seems like it will become so.

I’m trying to imagine a world in which a black teenager was let go after, say, running over a jogger with the excuse that they were on their phone.

MITI had also established a People’s Car Program; lots of minor players tried their hand at it. I am glad Honda realized that they would have a better chance with a niche product.

Good point, they should definitely figure out a way to incorporate this.

I would consider this a blessing.

I agree with you on everything except I also think the rear lights suck - derivative and looks like something that’d be installed on a restomod Mini.

All awful. Just buy a 2002 Thunderbird or one of those awful Camaros with ‘57 Chevrolet styling elements.

I’d be more excited about a version with a wraparound window. A convertible doesn’t fit too well with the Tucker ethos (that’s just my gut feeling, I have no documentation) but lines up perfectly with what some typical car collector/dealer would consider the perfect car.

No.

Amazing to see a car by a competitor (1958 Opel Olympia Rekord) in this advertising shot. They couldn’t have moved it a meter? No wonder NSU went bankrupt.

I would rather have my neighbors have decent paying jobs, less shipping, and less stuff. Repair, don’t buy new.

Disposable and also lacking in utility - making them worthless to many used-car buyers.

Of the cars you list, only the ZX2 received its own bodywork, the others are just trim/engine levels. Nissan still did it with the Sentra-based 200SX though (also all gone, haven’t seen one in decades).

It already looks better than most modern trucks.

I love the idea of millions of workers stuck working in space factories for the rest of their lives. All to get cheaper stuff and create shareholder value.

68 metres makes me wonder what you will do once you have landed... you will bust right through the coat closet and the butler’s pantry.

Isn’t this just his way of positioning himself for a presidential run without risking Trump being upset?
