We played this game as a group (taking turns at the controls), and everyone flinched at that scene. The room was quiet for a moment, and then I said, “Well, that was disturbing.” And we all laughed.

You just have to appreciate Kojima’s style. He incorporates those wall-breaking tidbits in everything.

What a funny coincidence. My friends and I just finished this game two nights ago. Well... by “finished” I mean we completed one playthrough.

Twin Snakes is my preferred version of MGS. Even the ridiculous cutscenes fit the ridiculous series, especially in post-Revengeance era.

This is one of my top-5 favorite games of all time. I’ve played through it, what, 3-5 times (not counting when I had others play it) and I still get surprised by the insanity effects. What an element that was!

I liked Twin Snakes as someone that found it difficult to go back and replay MGS1 after playing MGS2 and especially 3. Being able to go into a first person perspective really changed how those games played for me, and I found navigating the environment to be a bit unwieldy when I popped MGS1 into my PS2. A modern…
