My bachelor party two months ago consisted largely of Jackbox and Smash Bros. accompanied by a bunch of drinks and snacks with a group of guys who really mean a lot to me (which is the main thing, I think—not the specific activities). I had a great time.

Mario Run was just a boring game to me, personally. My not purchasing it had nothing to do with the business model. That said, I’ve pretty much quit playing any mobile phone games.

There was another Lola there who actually had bunny ears.

He removed the tweet, stating that it’s proof-of-concept and probably won’t be released to the public. So either it was a hoax or this guy’s just being a tease. I mean, c’mon... if not you, someone else will provide the tools.

There is no charge to back up your PS4 saves. That’s only for the online backup option. And on XB1 there’s no charge for even that feature. No matter how you look at it, you can backup your save data on the other major consoles (every PlayStation system since PSX, in fact) for free.

Exactly this. Sony’s removal of Other OS from the PS3 caused a massive surge in community effort to restore it. The result was the restoration of Linux on PS3—as well as a ton of homebrew programs like media players, FTP clients, and (of course) dumping of game software for play without the disc.

While trying to find a nice, compact dock to put in my Waterfield Switch bag, I kept finding occasional Amazon reviews where folks complained about temporary or permanent damage to their consoles.

“Actually Pretty Good?”

I don’t understand the need to redo the graphics. I thought the original sprites were great. What’s wrong with just playing the SNES version? =\

Oh well, then. No big tragedy or loss there.

I’ve been searching for a while to find a nice Packard Bell horizontal case to build a gaming PC... so far no luck. =(

So... Dance Central for Switch, yeah? :v

Leave out the tulip bulb middleman, and I’ll be all over it.

Do these “best thing ever” wings come in a boneless option?

Situations like this really highlight both the awesomeness of people and the necessity of save game data backups.

Add it to the list.

Oh, man. I hadn’t heard of this wonderful, monstrous game. Reminds me of my Coke Music days mashing noise loops together and performing my “masterpieces” for captive audiences.

I hated the change at first, but I actually like being able to mix-and-match shaders now.

There will always be overly vocal naysayers and apologists on the outside ends, but it’s definitely not a 1 or 0 kind of thing for many, if not most, players. Folks were rightly outraged at the sleazy practices (that had to be uncovered by meticulous number-crunching) but still enjoy the game for its good and fun

A good start.
