I just remember it being unrelentingly misanthropic. I’m as cynical/atheist as the next Gen-X’er, and even I found it overwhelming after a while.

I really hope it’s better than the comic. The comic is funny, in an angry middle-school way. There’s a lot of great stuff in the comic, but the shit-to-gold ratio is pretty, well… shitty.
