Did you read the article? It very clearly states that the rule hasn’t gone into effect yet, and the Senate will have 60 days to override the ruling.

Or even be able to do a product comparison?!?

I work in retail and I can confirm 70% of the shit stolen where I work is probably done by middle and high school kids.

I’m sorry, but I’ve worked retail beauty before (NOT Walmart), and we NEVER restricted access to our ethnic haircare lines, because they sold well but were not high enough value to warrant security tags/lock up. Expensive make up lines? Sure. For ALL complexions. Expensive hair appliances? Sure. For ALL hair types.

Torbjorn should have had a turret on B at a minimum, they got greedy.

Seen this happen a couple of times before. It was on Anubis both times. Does everyone just assume that someone else will go back to the capture point, but nobody does?

The new movies acknowledge the prequels. Kylo Ren mentions a clone army in the first one and Luke briefly recounts the rise of Darth Sidious in the new one. There’s not a lot of reason to dwell on those events 50something years later, honestly.

Me agree completely that Padme is underappreciated character. For starters, her story only part of Phantom Menace that actually work (and me agree her stiff delivery is acting choice — we see her soften when she pretending to be servant). But me honestly not know how shoehorning her into new series would possibly

Kids do love cardboard boxes. I know I used to.

Well Harry’s a Prince now and they cook together. This is probably what they were referencing.

Meghan was briefly a lifestyle blogger aiming hardcore to get a Food Network gig. If anything the apron was a surprisingly thoughtful gift for a state gift that actually reflects her interests.

Counterpoint- I hate to cook, but my best friend got me a badass wonder woman (retro 50's styled) apron and I wear it every chance I get because it’s so pretty. So, if there’s a kickass apron you know your friend will love and they occasionally cook, I say go ahead for people of all genders. Also true: Finland’s gift

It’s because #MeToo forces them to consider that they had little agency in their younger lives. To survive in that kind of misogynistic environment they had to pretend they wanted all that harassment to some degree and it’s very disorienting to have to look back on it with new eyes.

It’s almost like Democrats are move savvy media consumers who think about the interest being served by a given piece of news and Republicans enjoy being spoon fed views that reinforce their existing opinions.

But to go so far as a ban rather than just attempt to reduce the massive amount of unnecessary waste is absurd.

Metal straws will damage most cups so if you have a mug or stainless steel bottle you might want to skip that straw.

I like the paper straws and don’t care that they won’t bend, they are a little larger and great for smoothies. Now if they can figure out a compostable lid it would be great—I usually just ask for no lid or straw if plastic is used.

This article made me think of when fast food restaurants moved away from styrofoam containers. It seemed unthinkable that food wouldn’t come in a styrofoam clamshell. Now it seems natural to get a paper/cardboard box.

The City of Seattle has a plastic straw ‘ban’ in place right now. We can still get straws, it’s just that they must be made of compostable or recyclable material.
