If you have both doses it is 97% effective, from what I’ve read. I’m guessing the other 3% are people with compromised immune systems or immune systems who for whatever reason just didn’t take to the vaccine like they should.

I think a big part of it is because for some people the signs aren’t always there right away and it seems like their kid is regressing and so they assume something else caused it instead of it being there all along. I have Asperger’s, and my parents didn’t notice anything until I was six, when I became more closed…
You know, yu’d think people would care more about the NSA when we have plenty who think the govt has hacked all our microwaves...
This reminds me of my dad’s favorite complaint about working for the government “we spend 100 dollars to save 1 and call it good budgeting!” People don’t care how much it really saves, what they car eis it’s givng the appearance of dong something they think is what needs to be done.
You forgot radio signals into tooth fillings but still managed to get full marks for making it a chain of events!
It’s been bad in my area for years. People are utter idiots regarding cats. Like, there was a stray near us that had a litter, and they were hanging out near an abandoned house. Our neighbor found out who held the property and got permission to put out a cat trap. He got all but one kitten, and the vet recommended a…
Oh hell yes. I volunteered in a cat shelter in high school, and we had so many ferals that came in in traps that we had to hang onto until the vet could fix them and then they’d be let go again.
Darn. Thought it might be a single chopstick held in your teeth.
...how are you typing?
I agree with you. I’m in museum studies and only took the MBA track for resume reasons. Pretty much all the business stuff we’ve done so far has been, well...basic. As in “I feel genuinely worried people are taking a course like this in grad school” basic. Like “team communication for projects” as if I haven’t been…
Yeah, I had serious pain in my whole arm for the day after the tetanus booster...and the last HPV shot...and the flu shot...they were all in the same arm. Within a minute of each other. Otherwise, no issues.
Excellently put!
I assume it’s supposed to imply “autistic kid mid meltdown” but honestly kids do not need to be autistic to have a meltdown.
Fire’s a troll. They derailed me on a vaccination post a month or so ago.
I’m working in a museum right now and we’re going through the documents of the now-gone World Airways. They were one of the biggest pushers for deregulation (so they could make their charters cheaper and get cheap scheduled service going) and then when deregulation finally happened it’s pretty much what did them in.…
Graham will hang on to a second debate, I think. I vote either or both Santorum and Fioria
Yeah, I’ve known a lot of people who have made changes. Like a kid in high school who went by Anthony because his real name Alfredo caused too many pasta jokes. And my friend Abdul’s name was actually longer but he wanted something shorter becuae people were more likely to remember. And when I went to China I went by…
Sera, in party banter. A lot of their banter is Sera trying to unsettle Vivienne and Vivienne remaining unflappable.
I was eating when I got to that one. Oh god did it make me gag.
