The fuck is out here making you think we’ve handled that other shit? It’s not like we’ve been given a choice.

Ok. I made it about an hour in, but I quit. I like slow horror but this is . . . not that.
Things actually happened in that video though.
It’s almost like all their various excuses about why they are doing this are complete bullshit.
I truly cannot fathom why you give a shit about this.
“They’re not gonna talk for 10 minutes, or even 5.“
I cannot possibly think of a more frustrating topic for a list. Lol.
A thing I’ve noticed more in modern horror is sort of the evolution of the jump scare, where the whatever (monster, bad guy, etc) is just in the frame, lurking in the background of the scene. And it’s not a telegraphed jump so much as a “if you notice this, it will scare the shit out of you”. That’s how I remember…
Look, I was a grown ass adult watching it in my home in the middle of the day and this upset me so badly I had to pause it for like fifteen minutes. Different things work on different people and this one absolutely nailed me to the wall. I’m never going to watch it again or even play that clip. Ugh.
Funny you say this, I recently had what I’d consider my first written jump scare too. What made it even dumber was the character says it’s about to happen. Like, “I’m going to look out the window and see something horrible” and then she just does but it still freaked me out so much I had to put it down for a bit. Lol.…
Wow, already working hard on earning that “2023 Award for Biggest Piece of Shit Commenter”. Way to get a head start. (And congrats on your 2022 win!)
Booooooooooooooo. That being said, without spoiling anything, I’m not sure the audience for this season would have necessarily translated to an audience for another since the next season would have had to be so radically different in so many ways. Tbf, I didn’t really have my hopes up about this but fuck Netflix…
Damn, I really enjoyed Archive 81. Thanks for reminding me I’m still mad about that one too.
I honestly didn’t feel like it was a cliffhanger. It raised a bunch of new questions but it answered all the ones from what we had already seen. So all we are really being denied is continuation, not explanation. I found it satisfying.
Hey, leave Drag Race out of this.
This is fucking DIRE. I have to imagine the actual gems will be found in less likely places, like streaming, because holy shit. This is just a depressingly awful lineup. Even for superhero bullshit it seems unusually bad. Like they’re scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. This list is probably the most…
Please justify all the superhero movies you watched in 2022. Or how many James Bond movies you’ve sat through? Or Lego movies? I fucking like Barbie and Margot Robbie, ok? Damn. It’s not that complicated.
Well, I just watched all three seasons of this for the first time. Say what you will, but I believe season 1 is just about a perfect season of television. Season 2 was much more uneven but I liked the continued commitment to giving arcs room to breathe so we could really get into details and build suspense. Season…
Oh shit, so I’m not alone after all! I thought it was a greatly unique concept but I just found the main character to be such an asshole. There’s no growth or change in her by the end. The ending scenes with her daughter were just appalling to me. Like, oh ha ha she’s still going to call her suicidal daughter fat! I…
I’m still contemplating watching it but it definitely has the look of “this movie will hurt your feelings”. And who among us can really afford that kind of hit atm?
