I fucking hate Seward Johnson. He’s up there with Thomas Kincaide and Chihuly in the pantheon of outrageously bad art that people fucking love because people are fucking tacky and have no fucking clue.

Even as a resident of this state, it’s still kind of amazing to me how Abbott has given up any pretense of governance and it’s just all culture war all the time. Then again, his landslide re-election is all but assured no matter what he does, so might as well put it to the test, I guess.

No. “LOVE” became cliche as a victim of its own popularity, but Seward Johnson starts with cliche and goes downhill from there.

My theory is MTG and MG go around doing stuff like this because they don’t have any interest in doing the actual work that members of Congress do. They don’t really want to sit in meetings or read legislation or write legislation or meet with constituents or any of the actual work-work of the job.
