If the best you can do is “60 years ago, we were the good guys”, it’s time to stop resting on your laurels and start fixing your party. This is especially rich coming from Ron Paul’s son, who presumably knows exactly how racist the GOP is.

He looks like a thumb.

Worse, an internal affairs cop. He’s the cop who investigate accusations of wrong doing by other cops. So if Duncan no-nuts of the police department beats the shit out of someone, this prick is the one who investigates the allegation.

School to prison pipeline. Get the poor kids, children of color, and kids with special needs all used to the idea they’ll be spending their lives in some kind of institution.

Yeah, you’re supposed to put money into the police unions so they can give it to politicians to say they oppose the police while voting for amendments that gives police in LA School police to buy grenade launchers...and rifles and tanks, for a school.

A bittersweet day. 100% the correct verdict, and that is fantastic. But sadly, the victim will forever be lost to us.

It’s horrific, isn’t it? We’re becoming inured to mass shootings (at least 147 this year, so far, according to CNN) but a well-deserved “guilty” verdict for a public execution is a stunning surprise.

Also to get reforms and societal changes in place that keep us from being here in the first place.

Good. Is this still a white supremacist nation? Yes. Is US policing still an inherently and unreformably white supremacist institution within that white supremacist nation? Yes. Does this represent real justice? No. Can the legal structures of the US provide real justice? No, of course not. Does this country still

This is a significant moment that will only keep its meaning if America chooses to continue accountability as a matter of course.

Watching him get handcuffed and led away was strangely satisfying.
