LOL. While this is a good negotiating tactic when handing out birthday money, I don’t suggest you use this tactic when negotiating salary or stimulus packages. 

We are talking about past stimulus packages, which Biden didn’t bring up until after he created his proposal and after America voted. If past stimulus packages are on the table as a continuation of a $2,000 promise, then why aren’t all of them available for discussion?

The amendment that Dems tried to bring forward was for $2K instead of $600. I assumed that the next wave of money was going to be for $1,400. Either way, it’s not enough if we’re expecting people to stay home.

Please don’t do this dance. That AOC tweet was when Trump pushed back on the stimulus bill saying that $600 wasn’t enough for the people. That’s why AOC noted that she had the legislation already drawn up and ready to go. She was trying to get the people $2,000 then. Biden didn’t say that he was extending this talk.…

reneg or not, your other points are accurate. he’s going to be bipartisan when we hold the power, and given who we have leading our parties in congress (schumer and nancy) we’re going to be back to where we were after bush 41 because trump fucked us up so bad to get us to that point.

Glad I am not the only one remembering it this way, that Biden was talking about the legislation already passed by the house (early here coffee hasn’t kicked in).

But the real fuckshit here isn’t just that Biden is playing three-card-monte with America’s bread, it’s that he’s already trying to be “Bipartisan Biden” with Republicans who just danced all over our goddamn 50-yard line.
