We did have one that Republicans were extremely supportive of. That is until it started investigating a Republican President and his associates for collaborating with the Russian Government.

I mean, we’ve already established that there are some people who aren’t sure they assaulted someone.

It’s times like these that I think, “If only we had a federal agency trained to efficiently and professionally investigate allegations affecting the public interest...”

A great sign that things are going well is when someone has to say “Lets just take care of these alleged sexual assaults one at a time” on the eve of an appointment.

Trump is going to announce it was Rod Rosenstein.

Considering everything that she could potentially lose, she needs to be heard. I know people who have worked in the federal government and even in intelligence agencies/military. Lying about something like this would kill any potential advancement or future career. 

If he’s like most Republicans I’ve known, he does legitimately care about his immediate female family members and female friends. He would defend them from attacks and seek justice and/or vengeance on their attackers.

The real question now is why Republicans are trying to push forward with his nomination. In a sane world, it makes no sense. When Bush put forward a bad nominee, he withdrew her name after it became evident that her confirmation would be difficult. There are probably at least twenty very high-quality conservative…

I wonder if it’s less about succeeding and more about delaying proceedings until the midterms as this winds through the courts.

I hope his accusers sue him for defamation. Well, the four (out of like 18) he claims were paid. Which four? Don't know, they should all sue. 

It’s so great we have all this to distract the judiciary committee from bringing up points about his lying under oath, hidden classified information, and suspect financial situations.
