And another post asking for regular reviews. C'mon AC club you dumped this show to cover 'Minority Report' - own up to your mistake and give this show its due. It deserves it.

We already have a character with a deadly vagina over at Downton Abbey.

When Eli said to Ruth that he wished he had been better to her I felt tempted to view the line as unintentional 4th-wall breaking by the Kings. Martindale deserved better material.

Grace even gave Alicia the ok for a relationship with Will at one point though I can't remember the specific episode.

Of course it was a shitty thing to do and I would give Eli hell for it too. But the show plays it as a giant Greek tragedy as if Alicia and Will never had a chance to get together because of that episode.

It's also noteworthy that Alicia knew about that voicemail, just not its content. She asked Will about it and he lied about it to her. All that happened in season 2 - I assume she realized Will loved her when they had their affair even if they never talked about the strange tale of the deleted voicemail again.

But maybe they will at least have a plan?

So, I was the only one going 'Obviously Superman/Atom is the murderer!' I keep confusing Bean and Routh.

I thought they are talking about Dr. Jones.

Yeah, but I'm sure I forgot about two-thirds of the twist and turns it took!

Ack, murderous Mr Bates escaped from DA to 12 Monkeys - everybody run!
Hmm, I think I must do a binge-watch of season 1 or the only way to deal with season 2 will be to continously shout 'timey-wimey' at the screen.

That's what I keep hearing from book folks yet things move at a glacial pace. Problem is it's all so confusing that while trying to clarify some details I got (partially) spoilered. Happened twice already and I'm frustrated enough to ponder ordering the damn books (vol. 1 at least) or just go full-on spoilers by

I have a really hard time believing that line about 'Blue Bloods'. I enjoy Tom Selleck pontificating and the show pretending NY is about the size of Walnut Grove but I don't buy it rakes in those ratings.

He! Sorry - need more coffee!

There is no 'writer' to fire except Lord Fellowes himself.

Justified! Season 2 - Martindale gives a truly epic performance and won an Emmy for her part. Justified was a great show with many great performances and she was just stellar during her arc.

So, we have four Robin Hoods and two Jungle Books ahead of us? What's next - three 3 Musketeers?

I got the DVDs but the image quality is really bad - no remastering. It was a really inspired take on the tale.

No One's More Happy Than You by Clem Snide.

One of the worst episodes TGW ever put out.
Martindale tried her best in the scenes with Alicia but if Ruth had really been that wise and cunning she'd have realized a long time ago that the key to Peter was Alicia.
The only good thing about this episode was JDM bitching about antioxidants.
