Calling this a "terrible start" is more than polite.

At least he didn't have to suffer through too many episodes of that (admittedly hilarious) atrocity. James Wolk, Nonso Anozie and Billy Burke are still in a hostage situation as there's talk of a season 2.

If so then kuddos for making the best of the leak (and if the leak was intentional then more applause).

Sounds good to me. We can now start the guessing game. John Noble's already on Elementary, Ron Rifkin on Limitless, Victor Garber on Legends of Tomorrow but I think Xander Berkeley is currently without a major gig.

Fringe?

I think that was a great twist that really cleaned up a lot of problems from the pilot. I did actually notice Weller's reaction to her scar but at the time thought it was just a throw-away acting choice.
It remains to be seen if the scar is a red herring - that'd be a cruel twist. But I would prefer her to be the

I'm glad that it is doing well and hope it stays that way. I'm quite impressed at the speed they're burning through the plot - in this episode alone they addressed three major mysteries from the pilot, cleared up some messy plot points and added someone voicing concerns over the whole premise. That's impressive

That was the show with the unforgivable wig, right? If so then I'm staying as far away from Quantico as possible.(Which had already been my intention - just a bit surprised this got a B+ here.)

Considering the latest ratings for Castle Filion as Hannibal sounds doable.

I'd watch that. I miss Parker and Parker was Leverage's Murdock.

I wish we could see the original pitch for some pilots. I'm pretty sure they vastly differ from the end product - unless they're written by a very experienced showrunner.

Depends on how much you like the new character. I'm not a fan but I might stick with the show to the bitter end which given the ratings does not seem far away.

Gah, it's a two-parter!!! The good: Alexis got a new haircut and Castle's newly furnished PI office is great. The bad: uhm, everything else? Also - trigger warning in case you're arachnophobic.

Err, I'm about halfway through and I'm not sure I can make it to the end. Is there a word for that strange phenomenon that (even decent) procedurals tend to fall flat on their faces when they try to go serial? Serial-fail? Whatever it is it hurts - a lot.

Oh just vent away - after all there's plenty of room for YMMV and all that!

I spent some of the best time this summer snark-watching Zoo which was a glorious trainwreck of a tv show.

Terrorist guy wasn't really a terrorist though.

I agree about putting her all alone in a safe-house. I think they did that so she could have that silent break-down in front of the mirror. There was a psychologist the next morning and I thought his scene with the coffee/tea cups was one of the stronger ones in the episode.
They also addressed that the tattoos felt

Nah, action babes without tattoos - you have to buy the decals separately.

The one thing I wanted to know more about was the Hawkeye system. From the sounds of it it'll be something like POI's Machine or rather Samaritan because it must be the evil antagonist to the good precog(s).
