Saw the pilot and have to disagree. I was actually surprised how little sexualized the scenes where she was completely naked felt. In all cases it was clear that this is a woman in deep discomfort and the camera was not ogling.

Yeah, the Sharon Stone arc was great and pretty heartbreaking and bleak. It's also remarkable that they did show the emotional fall-out.
I caught some reruns recently out of nostalgia and I think the show holds up quite well all things considered.

I loved the show as a kid but I do remember that even back then I wondered why most women Magnum had to deal with were so incredibly dumb and/or annoying.
