The audience for this advice is the fixer, not the one with the problem.

It definitely improved my quality of life, but it was maddening to know that I had a robotic surgery performed for less money out-of-pocket than the thing I’d need to take on a daily basis.

I’d wager that the cost of the meds is the reason they’re not being taken regularly (at least, it’s likely a bigger factor than folks give it credit for). If a 30-day supply of something costs a few hundred bucks, taking it every other day saves money and “stretches it out”.

I came here to comment the same thing.

Yikes.

Yikes.

My mattress and boxspring. I’ve had the same frame (no headboard) for years, but I  didn’t really feel like an adult until I purchased my own damn bed.

“Are you gay with...” is such an odd way of phrasing, I can’t get past my laughter to figure out if they’re serious.

My niece and I “boop” (headbutt) and have colorful dance parties with the Hue lights to celebrate. She doesn’t boop anyone else, because she learned it from me. :)

Are you familiar with bodegas? They’re comparable to a local, neighborhood grocery store. My comment was about replacing an existing business with a similar, but higher-priced one, making continued patronage difficult, if not impossible, for the existing community.

Only if the people that live and work there can afford to patronize it. If a bodega is replaced by a mini Whole Foods, it’s not going to get the same customers.

I’m just here to bask in the glow of Dame Helen.

This reads super rigid, but I promise, it’s not like that. LOL.

My niece self-selected a time-out spot in my apartment the first time she had one.

I used to sugar my grits and my white rice.

I never actually commented on the passenger that was removed, though. I’m genuinely interested in these health certificates, because they’re a thing that I’ve never heard of, in my decades of living, traveling, and requesting accommodations/making arrangements/taking precautions to protect my health in light of my

An EpiPen (prescription), and a note for sitting out PE in school (which they kept), but never a letter I was supposed to keep on my person for the purpose of proving anything.

Bless your heart. Live in your truth and rock with those dry mashed potatoes or whateva.

Can someone please provide an example of these ‘health certificates’ that folks are supposed to carry with them?

Bullet point “on muvas” (for the DC-area folks) at #5.
