I've had many of these conversations over the past several months. And I've been trying to sharpen my perspective on this problem, the problem of the "how do I help," question. I offer these comments with compassion and great respect for your commitment to children and families:

Just help. Just do what your

I don't know which is worse, the unrepentant killer or the man who insists to the end that he meant well.

i need a goddamn vodka.

Every time I read an article explaining how white people who think they are helping really aren't... this is the response from so many white people. "I don't know what to do then, maybe I should just do nothing?" If we stay inactive with the excuse of "not accidentally making things worse," we're letting the racist

Your essay makes me uncomfortable. I honestly don't know how to help or be an ally. I work with kids in the family court system, either through abuse/neglect or juvenile delinquency/incorrigability. How many false rape accusations have you heard of since then? None? One? A handful? And how many actual rape allegations? Hundreds? Thousands?

You might think so as a matter of logic, but there's no evidence to support that, and really what evidence there is points in the opposite direction. Believe it or not, most women don't want to be torn apart by high-priced lawyers and PR teams. If you want to extort an athlete, there are many easier ways.

Let's all marry that lady, it won't be weird

MARRY ME, LADY.
