That's about right, Cassie!

My cousin's dress, circa 2009. The best wedding I've ever been to, it was a backyard potluck (her in-laws are Portuguese, so there was a lot of delicious fish!). I am 99% sure it cost less than the dress I wore to her wedding, but she looked amazing, and besides, it didn't matter how much she spent, it was about the

My gut tells me she was trying to get at there should be more discussion about human rights as a whole and limiting yourself to working for the rights only of women doesn't really ring true for her, the individual Lily Allen who is a pop star, not a scholar of feminist theory.

I can't help but think that she is the real life incarnate of what Penny from the Big Bang Theory would be like if she actually became famous. You can take the girl out of Nebraska…

Ew, Jared Leto gross I hear he's a total d-bag.

I would very much like it if he'd make my day. BTW, "day" is not the word I mean.

That is amazing. I am hoping they pronounced parrot 'pah-roh', similar to Poirot. He would be Hercule Parrot.

Oh my God, Hercule Parrot. I get it!

You missed the best part of the parrot story - he's called 'Hercule'!

Yes, I need to do that. Definitely. I thought about it at the time and then got distracted by Jezebel. :-) I should praise them to the skies, because I'd sure be complaining if it had gone down badly. I shall get on it.

As a plus-size lady, I would never ever in a million years go on a date with anyone from a site like that. Or anyone who called himself a "chubby chaser." It would be such a great idea to have a dating site where you were not terrified of becoming some Match.com horror story ("Oh my god, she was so fat!") and could

If I managed that staff I'd love to get an email of what you wrote!

If it's so tiring arguing with people like me, then why are you doing it now?

Responding to the end of your post, I think some people have this image in their minds of these "other" people living communally and so when one of them accepts you or invites you to don X clothing, somehow everyone in that culture is aware of it.

Your response to all these comments is making me giggle. "Self righteous" is the perfect phrase for a lot of these people. Why are they the authority on what's ethical and what isn't?
